In 2022 we decided to merge “My Ladyboy Date” into “My Transgender Date”. Why the change? How does it affect you? I will explain everything.

(you may watch the video or read the article, they’re essentially telling the same thing 😊)

A little bit of history

We launched My Ladyboy Date in 2013 to help trans women find love. As the name implies, we focused on Asia at the time. Success followed, and we understood that the need for a decent trans dating site expanded beyond Asia. And so we decided to launch My Transgender Date in 2014 (previously known as My Transsexual Date).

These two websites were actually the same website. Same profiles, same photos, same everything.

When you signed up on My Ladyboy Date, your profile also existed on My Transgender Date, and vice versa. No matter which website you used, you could browse the same profiles and chat with the same members.

We’ve been running our dating service with two websites and two names ever since.

Why the change

First, having two websites was confusing for our members. Some members did not understand the connection between the two and ended up creating multiple accounts on each 🤔

Second, things have changed since 2013. Nowadays the trans* terminologies are more popular in Asia, while ladyboy is falling out of fashion 🇵🇭🇹🇭🇲🇾

Third, the App Store / Play Store won’t allow us to publish two quasi-identical apps. Therefore we will publish only one app, and it makes sense to focus our efforts on just one website / one app (and that is My Transgender Date) 📱

How it affects you

If you want to join our website, then you should sign up directly via mytransgenderdate.com.

If you are an existing member of My Ladyboy Date, then your account already exists on My Transgender Date! Your ability to log in to your account on My Transgender Date depends on your log in method (email / password or Facebook). See below.

1. If you log in with email / password

If you usually log in via email / password, then you can simply go to mytransgenderdate.com and log in with the same email and password. As simple as that 👍🏻

2. If you log in with Facebook

If you use the “Log in with Facebook” button, then you need to do a simple procedure in order to access your account on My Transgender Date 🤓

There is a risk Facebook shuts down the “Log in with Facebook” functionality at any moment. So, we proactively decided to invite our members to verify their email address and password to ensure they can always access their account no matter what. Read the full story here.

Here’s the process:

  1. Go to https://myladyboydate.com/login
  2. Click on “Log in with Facebook”
  3. After login is successful, click on “Continue”
  4. You will be redirected to mytransgenderdate.com
  5. Verify your email address (a 6 digit code will be sent to your email address)
  6. Choose a password
  7. Done!

Once the procedure is done, you can log in to My Transgender Date with your email and password.

If you have issues completing this procedure, please contact our support and we will be happy to help you.

Moving on

If you have questions or need help regarding this change, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to assist you, as always 🙂

Finally, I want to thank you all for following us over the years as we develop and improve our website to better help trans women find love. Your trust means a lot to us!

Love 💜
